If you’re thinking about getting married in Napa Valley, Charles Krug Winery should be on your list of places to check out! It is located in adorable St. Helena and is surrounded by redwood trees and rows and rows of old grapevines. Fun fact: Charles Krug Winery was the valley’s very first vineyard! So obviously they know what they’re doing.
There are several different locations at the winery to choose for your ceremony. The most beautiful place for a ceremony is on the lawn, which can hold up to 800 guests if you’re planning a HUGE event. There’s also a sweet cherub fountain at the entrance to the carriage house that would be a good spot for a more intimate ceremony. Lots of options here, depending on the size of your wedding. And lots of great options for photo ops--I especially love to shoot first look photos between the rows of grapes!
You’ll probably have your reception in the winery’s restored 1881 carriage house. It’s got amazing chandeliers and cathedral ceilings--the place feels open and airy. I love the redwood floors for dancing on all night long! The second floor looks out onto the lawn and is a great place for photos and for watching the sun set over the vineyards.
Whether your guest list is 50 or 350, Charles Krug Winery can definitely meet your needs.
